Coaching is about Change

Some people can decide to make change in their life and move directly to their goal in the quickest possible manner, with no deviation or hesitation. Others are really good at starting to make changes but their change program seems to grind to a a halt pretty quickly. Other people are very good at starting out and can maintain progress for awhile but always seem to come up against blocks.
Often it seems that no matter what they do, they just can't break through the blocks. Each time they try to enact a change program and are defeated by the same or similar blocks, they feel less and less capable of creating the changes they want. Over time, not surprisingly, they start to expect failure and increasingly doubt their ability to get what they want out of life. They settle for second or even third best. Coaching will put into place a program for real change. If you put the knowledge into ACTION it will work for you.

A Vision is not enough you need support, encouragement and specific goals and plans to get what you want. Flexible plans are the best ones. You can't know what will work for you until putting processes into ACTION. You will need to monitor your progress and change direction when necessary. As you reach milestones on the way you need to take time to celebrate your successes.
The key to it all is ACTION continuous and deliberate ACTION. Without it nothing works.
Most people aren't lazy but they are very busy. They forget what it was they intended to do. They get distracted by other things. Coaching helps you to stay on track and remember. It keeps you on track and helps you make sure you are living your life according to your beliefs and ideals.
The more you succeed the better you will feel. The exhilaration of being in control of your life is a powerful motivator. it can lead you to great things. You make the plans, you develop the skills, and it works out if you make the changes. The feeling is incredible, and not surprisingly it affects other areas of your life as well.
If you learn to take control of one area of your life, you will automatically become more effective in other areas of your life.
